the font we use for all our college sweatshirts, tshirts, and whatever else is called "porn star academy." this fact amuses me and makes me laugh a lot. my uncontrollable laughter over silly and little things such as skewing pictures to the point where the people in pictures look like they've gained 20+ lbs, makes my coworkers think i'm insane. this fact is probably true. skewing is almost always wrong in design, and should be avoided at all possible costs. but it's really quite funny when pictures are stretched out. it's like those wide-screen tvs. don't people like those things? i thought they did.

today's conversation with my dad:
me: why are you wearing sun glasses inside the house!?
dad: what?! why are YOU wearing sun glasses inside the house! (i forgot i was even wearing mine.)
me: oh um...whatever! i asked you first and i just came home!
dad: you like my sun glasses? daddy look good?
me: ...

my dad owns about 6 or 7 pairs of sunglasses. he upgraded from target brand glasses to american eagle, and most recently, dolce and gabana. he thinks he's a high roller/baller/shot caller, now. my dad also likes the new gnarls barkley song, A LOT. he likes it so much that he turns it up and attempts to sing along with the chorus. he also thinks gnarls barkley is a woman. more specifically, diana ross.

some not-so-confessional-confessions:
1) i check my gmail a bazillion times a day. i check it so much that i have now coined the term 'gmailing' as the newer, and hipper way of saying e-mailing because i am always gmailing.

2) some girls are either shoe girls or bag girls (and sometimes both). i am a shoe girl. i have so many pairs of shoes that i am actually quite scared to count the number of pairs i own. i think it's time i get a shoe rack all for myself. new shoe stores are very, very bad for my wallet. you can probably figure out what i did this afternoon.

3) i have a way of doing things and i like sticking to the way i do things. offer me a new way or teach me a new way, and i will most likely refuse to do it your way and continue doing things my way, even if it requires more steps and a lot more work.

4) when i have the choice to order between a cheese pizza or a pepperoni, i will choose the pepperoni. however, i end up taking all the pepperoni slices off. it would be easier to just order a cheese pizza, but it doesn't taste the same!

work everyday, san diego this thursday, and school next wednesday. life is so busy right now but it's better this way. it's better than twiddling my thumb in idle boredom and wondering whether snacking will help pass the time. everything written today seems completely random and all over the place. i apologize for any incoherency and erratic lines of text. i promise a better entry next time.
